We just found Cafe Cuba driving by the other night. We went in this morning for breakfast and we'll be coming back a LOT. Forget driving to Porto's!! The pastelitos de guayaba are DELICIOUS! The cafe con leche is just like in New Jersey, the croquetas are really good, even the pan con mantequilla is great! And I LOVE the ambience! Found my new favorite place in Hawthorne!!!
I visited on a Sunday (Google mentioned it as closed, but it is open on Sundays) and enjoyed a fantastic cortadito and cajeta pastelito. The service was polite and quick. I can't wait to return for more food. As for parking, there are plenty of spots available right in front along Hawthorne Blvd.
What a hidden gem in Hawthorne! It always has been. The Cubano sandwiches and iced lattes are delicious and definitely worth the wait. I also adore the Cuban art displayed on the walls.

Love that they sell flautas de pan, pastelitos other sweets in addition to a full kitchen. Papa Rellenas were off the hook good�
Nice place and very friendly. I had a good breakfast, coffee with milk and a Cuban sandwich... Very delicious.
