We stumbled across this café and thought we would have a nice glass of wine watching the world go by. The staff were very rude and not very accommodating. We had 4 very small glasses of wine and the bill came to just short of...€30! Definitely not value for money. Don't visit the toilets as the cleanliness wasn't very good. It was disappointing to be treated so rudely especially as we were spied by a member of the bar staff the whole time we were sat at the table.
Il est loin le temps où c'était bon et servi convenablement. J'ai quitté vernon il y a 6 ans. Depuis chaque retour est décevant. La qualité du service a degringolée. Dernier épisode : il y a une semaine, je rentre dans le bar, le serveur part discuter au bout de celui-ci. Je vais en terasse, il m'a vu et n'ai pas venu prendre ma commande...il n'était pas très occupé. Je suis parti et allé boire un coup ailleurs.
This café has a great location, on the way back to the train station from Giverny. They obviously know it, though, and are slow to serve non-locals. You should come here if you have an hour to kill before your train leaves (which is what...I did), to have a drink outside and spy on the locals. It's not haute cuisine by any stretch of the imagination.
Very listener. It's quiet. I was invited to a Christmas dinner with about 20 people with disabilities (but we don't have a wheelchair) I made a severe Burn out as Technical Director of my own company. Now I'm handicapped recognized by the state. I can't practice with my transport license anymore. So I'm walking around and I have internet. Reserva una mesa ahora
with regard to the kitchen, a simple lunch at noon. excellent value quality price. Cook, a good sauce, good accompaniments. perfect, simple and effective. (and rather cute cook) with regard to service, finally a person who knows his profession. friendly, smiling and effective. Bravo! I highly recommend.
Entrance for the boys who were good Beef bourguignon for boys also good Sologne salads for girls with fries cooked in old oil.... Too bad.... but we spent a superb day in Giverny under the sun.
avec nos petites filles : Solenn 8 ans et Clara 14 ans, jamais elles n'avaient mangé un si bon hamburger ! mardi 1 aout, avant d'aller à Giverny.
