This Cafe has been running for years. Don 't be put off the 'wild west ' looking frontage. My Dad and I were visiting from the UK and returned this year after a 10 year gap (we went twice this week for lunch). As you enter, there...is a traditional bar which you walk through to get to the restaurant. The restaurant is clean, tidy, with know particular flourishes, although it does have some interesting historical black and white photos of the surrounding area hung on the walls. I stayed in Beaulieu last November and stumbled upon this wonderful spot. I was a woman traveling alone and have no problem going for a drink by myself (I usually don 't stay that way long! I met the owner, Ludo, upon my first visit and...then some of his regulars introduced themselves and we had a grand time. I went back a couple more times and the whole environment was like the US show Cheers . Everyone very congenial and a great atmosphere. I only drank the wine and did not eat : So I cannot rate the food. I 'm going back this summer and look forward to seeing Ludo and the locals AND having a meal or two
NOT TO MISS..such sweetness toward American's. In May, about 8 yrs. ago. Fabulous meal. A bit pricy, but well worth your time. At the outdoor cafe. Made my favorite, Salde Nicoise, though not on menu. Husband had a lovely fish filet!! THE WAIT IS VERY MUCH, WORTH IT!

A very pleasant place with bosses of extreme kindness always a little attention to the very correct prices are looking forward to going back out of season.
