We had reserved a table on the terrace; the show was varied but noisy: we were installed on the sidewalk of the main street of Dampierre in front of the town hall between the restaurant and the staircase that leads to its old entrance. The waitress made an effort to bring the heavy slate, where the card is registered; she turned out to be very friendly, with humor. No menu is offered but the available dishes show a search for originality. The chef's tart (bone covered with tomato, ham and cheese, baked) is quite easy to realize but is a good entry. A new owner for this restaurant café, which has revived his life, and especially that makes it the center of life of the village. Pierre and his team, in the undetectable good mood, have the vocation of customer satisfaction to the body. Always looking for new ideas, and new projects for the establishment, they are committed to doing their job well. The restoration part, quite recent, offers a short, always fresh and home map at the best price possible. Always a pleasure to spend at the coffee station, for a coffee, a Leffe or a lunch.
finally a good cheap address in Chevreuse Valley. the formula of the day (18€ for 2 services, noon in week) offers an excellent value for money, with the choice between several good well-prepared and copied dishes (e.g., limousine or turbot). So we'll come back without hesitation.
We had a very good time with a very friendly staff. Everything was perfect and very good at home. An exceptional brewery to discover absolutely in a magical, magnificent, bucolic place close to the castle of Dampierre and in the Chevreuse valley, also to discover absolutely !!!
