La Terrasse de Sauvegrain

I came here for a team lunch on a colleague's recommendation and I wasn't/ we were' nt disappointed. We ate outside on the terrasse despite a few drops of rain. For simplicity we had pre-ordered and everyone seemed well pleased with their choices. The only real problem was remembering what we had chosen !! The choice was varied with both meat & fish, obviously fresh products, well presented and beautifully flavoured. All washed down well with both good white & red wine. The service was very good, both discrete and rapid, and agreeably friendly. And all very reasonably priced all things considered.

There is everything you expect from a place like this, a warm welcome and setting and elaborate but generous and tasty cuisine that is good for the taste buds, a moment of pleasure to repeat. This Restaurant belongs to the Manoir de Sauvegrain, and is well run. The building is ancient, with steep steps up to the door. It has an excellent chef. Service was informal, but attentive and knowlegable. The staff are young, and friendly. It seemed popular at...a quiet time in bad weather, so be sure to book.

There is a lack of a cloakroom for customers (big coats in winter). One of the 2 young women during the service was not very warm. Nothing to say about the meal. Congratulations to the chef. Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 3

High-class food. great and friendly service. they can easily park in front of the door and the ambiente is great. to round it off, its also inexpensive for the quality of cooking and ingredients.
