Unfortunately or maybe luckily? this hidden gem is located outside of the old city of Riquewihr, oposite the city hall. That gives you the chance to get a free table, in front of the house, cozy inside or on the small terrace at the backside (which is nice, but with no view). What is special to this small café? The smal menu with alsace dishes. And you get the impression this is well done and with expertise and heart. Everything we ordered were very good (fish, minced meat roll, fish, tarte flambe). The service is aufmerksam, herzlich. Recommendation such as the desert helpful. The prices are not high and not low. I would say fair mid range (you will not find this information on google), however we feel it is every euro worth. Clear recommendation and much more then the standards inside the old town.

We really enjoyed our House Kir to start blending local cremant with Mûre delicious! The house foie gras plate with fig jam and caramelised onions was generous, plenty to share and really gorgeous. The tartes flambees, light and crisp. We enjoyed our two cheesy choices made with local cheeses Munster and Ribeaupierre. The service was excellent, nothing was too much trouble for the young girl serving us and she did her utmost to make sure everything was perfect. My husband is a fan of Alsatian Coffees, and this one with marc de Gewürztraminer did not disappoint.

Great meal in nice, simple and modern surroundings just outside the centre. Short menu which is good and very good range of dishes. Service was welcoming and friendly and very efficient. Good wine selection. Excellent and highly recommended.

Simply the best Tarte Flambée we have had since our arrival in Alsace some years ago. A delight post a wonderful walk through the vienyards surrounding Riquewihr. Burgers look great too.

We have been to several places in riquewihr but the flammkuchen and burgers were the best here, by far. Also, the staff was so genuinly friendly, a true delight! Definitely recommend!
