I used to frequently visit Glasgow, which felt like a second home to me, 30 years ago. Cafe Gandolfi was always one of my favorite spots, particularly for breakfast but also for dinner on occasion. After moving to Germany and not returning to Glasgow for nearly three decades, I recently had the opportunity to travel back to the UK for business. With some apprehension, I arrived at Cafe Gandolfi without a reservation, worried that it may not live up to my memories. Luckily, I was able to secure the last available table and was delighted to find that the food and service were just as exceptional, if not better, than I remembered, all while maintaining its unique charm. I went to this restaurant for lunch with four members of my family and we all had an amazing meal. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. Unfortunately, we were too full to try any desserts, but they all sounded fantastic. The restaurant accommodates dietary restrictions with an allergen menu and are willing to make adjustments for gluten or dairy-free options. Overall, it was a great dining experience for lunch.
worked for a birthday breakfast and it was absolutely perfect. excellent eating, served in good time, all piping hot and very pleasant staff. if I had not drawn to the south of the border, this would be my place for breakfast / brunch. Many thanks for helping me start my day on the right way.
Lovely restaurant in the city centre. We visited on Saturday for my dads birthday and had a really great meal. The staff were very friendly and attentive and the food was delicious. Definitely book in advance as it was really busy. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Colour, delicious food, average prices. I really liked the blood of the drop collorfel, believe the food, on average, and the Riley Levy is a weak pudding.
great brekkie Saturday morning, so well we booked it on Sunday. great friendly helpful staff, and highly recommend the stornoway black pudding.
