Cafe Gourmand - Reserva de mesa

Bonjour everyone to a small but cozy French inspired placed on the main street. Nice selection of baguettes and cakes in the display. Go for the Latte in a mug to get two shots of coffee. We noticed many locals come in to pick up a take-away lunch we presume. The door didn't close properly and was left slightly open when people came and went. We sat near the door and felt the irritating cold on and off. It seems the door closing mechanical device has seen better days and should be replaced.

Cute cafe, great atmosphere, tasty food and very friendly & lovely French owners.The cafe has a great French feel to it and the food selection on the menu is great including the pastries and quiches etc in the food counter. We had a selection of fresh baguettes with a croque monsieur and a deliciously fresh smoked salmon salad - great vinaigrette. Servings are generous. Will come back again!

I received a very warm welcome at this restaurant! Angèle and Robert were working hard in the kitchen, and the friendly waitress up front made sure I was completely satisfied with my experience. It's clear that this place is a favorite among locals, just by the way Robert was laughing and chatting with everyone.

French pastries as good as you will find in Paris. Light meals and great coffee make Cafe Gourmand an excellent place for breakfast or brunch. It's cosy, so you might struggle to find a seat, which is less of a problem in better weather as there is outside seating. Try the crepes or a delicious croque monsieur. Reserva una mesa ahora

An authentic little piece of France right in the middle of Mount Eliza. Delicious pastries, baguettes, crepes and many more delicacies. Coffee is good. Atmosphere - cozy and decor - cheerful. What's not to like - nothing! Enjoy breakfast or lunch or perhaps whiling away you time over morning or afternoon tea.

Service was slow and inattentive and the girl serving us looked like she'd rather be anywhere else. The meals were average in terms of presentation and the toasted baguette was burnt around the edges. Also felt it was just a little overpriced. Wouldn't rush back.

Have been coming to this lovely French Cafe since Robert took over, my favourite breakfast is the Fetta Eggs, magnificent.!! Order and pay at the counter, but make sure you try one of the delicious cakes you can see on display... Delicious!

Angel and the team are always so delightful, the eggs benedict for breakfast is the perfect way to kickstart the day.
