Cafe gourmand chez stephan

Café Gourmand is located in probably the best spot in the centre square of Limoux. If there's something going on you can easily watch whilst you dine.This was the first place my family and I ate at when we arrived in Limoux. We'd had a long jouney and went to the first place we saw. What a great choice!We had a couple of tapas dishes to share for a starter and then all had burgers. The kids had the standard steak hache et frites. The food was excellent. The burgers were delicious, as was the tapas.The only thing I can say against the Café Gourmand is that the service was slightly slow, but they were quite busy and there were only 2 (hard working) waitresses.During our stay the Café Gourmand became one of our favourite places to go just for a drink, with the friendly staff getting to know you quickly and always making you feel welcome.Highly recommended if you are in the area.

Very good reception in this restaurant. We were set up against the window where we were able to attend the carnival crossing in the first places. We took a coast of fries: perfect cuisine, very tender meat and a very crispy fish and fries. The fries were not fat and the portion of copy. For dessert a tatin pie ball of vanilla ice cream and a gourmet coffee. Quick service and smile. We'll be back.

Nice spot in the square and food was good but expensive. Spoiled by not so good service. Brought wrong dessert and rather than correct the error, left us with it. Also not offered tapas menu but some were.

Great kitchen, very nice choice of tapas, generous plates and nicely situated on Limoux's main square. The best restaurant on la place, for our sake.

good place for a meal in the head or with friends. the map is user-friendly and the service is very hot. I'll give it to you.
