Café La Maison Smith Des Jardins

Good coffee, excellent pastries. Popular, so be prepared to wait in line a bit for your order. I prefer this location (Des Jardins, upper city just below the Chateau Frontenac) with its limited bar seating, to the Notre Dame location, with outdoor tables that always seem to be completely occupied.

Had an Americano and oat milk latte, both were great. They have really good coffee.I was disappointed in the one vegan option, a cookie that might have been raw. They had so much pastry, it would have been nice to have a few more vegan options.Dietary restrictions: Oat milk is available for coffee

You can’t go wrong with La Maison Smith. They have 3 excellent locations in old town… great coffee, great variety, lovely staff. This one is super busy with the crowds from the hotels, but they work fast while keeping the high quality of everything.

We have become addicted to Maison Smith over the time in the area. First on Isle Orleans, then in Quebec City. It has got to be one of the best coffee houses around. I don't generally like chains but these folks know how to do it right.

They serve cold coffee and when I ask for it they make it hot as hell... I order waffle and macarons, I think they forgot to put fresh once to the display like since 3 days.. bad experience worst bakery and poor coffee ?

It's a coffee shop. So it's very busy, especially when we visit. But the 2 baristas the day we went were able to quickly effectively complete orders for probably about 20 people with grace. It was impressive!

It's a bit cheap when you ask me. Not even a real cup, just a paper cup. The hot chocolate is okay but it's not quality chocolate.

Friendly staff. Decent coffee. Day old/not fresh croissants served at full price at 2pm. Not impressed on this front.

A busy coffee shop in Quebec City neat Frontenac. Best almond croissant ? ever. Had a nice Flat White
