On our visit it looked like a perfect place to eat. We live in France and we eat out on a regular basis, but sadly this experience didn't live up to expectations. Our waiter was excellent, saw our little dog and brought water without us asking. The menu was overloaded with salad, 16 to be precise, no fish and only 3 meat courses, one of which happened to be the Dish of the Day. My wife and daughter opted for the main dish, which was ok, but nothing special. I opted for a sirloin steak, I asked for fries, but was told they didn't do them. I ended up with a small, thin, unseasoned, bland and tasteless steak next to a pile of lettuce, with a drizzle of dressing, and a portion of tinned (confirmed later by our waiter) green beans, again tasteless, (my dish alone was €13.50 without dessert). When it came to dessert we asked for the menu, this time it was the female owner who came across. She recited 3 desserts, my wife said she'd like the menu, she was told that the 3 desserts were part of the 'formula', I.e. a main course and dessert. My wife, who speaks excellent French, explained that she and my daughter didn't order the formula, the owner then pretended not to understand and repeated the dessert choices. In the end they took what was available and to be fair it was very good. When we'd finished my wife had had enough and complained to our waiter, he was sympathetic, and we think he'd heard a few complaints before, he looked across at the female owner and grimaced. We paid the bill of just over €48, tipped him handsomely and departed feeling slightly ripped off by the money grabbing patron! So, unless you like salads, buyer beware, it's not a great place to eat, there are far better bistro's than this one.
