Cafe Le Matin - Reservar una mesa

We last visited Le Matin about 2 years ago and really enjoyed our lunch there.So we headed back there during a short stopover in Paris and the banner hanging over their awning stating new owners had us a little concerned that the quality had changed, but we needn't have worried.We asked the new owner how long he had been the proprietor (2 weeks) and whether the same chef was there (he was).We arrived just before noon and managed to snap up a table right at the front just inside the door so had a great view over the passing parade without having to worry about smokers or traffic. Within 15 minutes the place was full of local office workers some of whom, quite rightly, got their orders just ahead of ours, the owner realising we were there for a long lunch whilst the workers had time restraints.We ordered the lunchtime menu from the blackboard, my wife having the pork chops and I took the fish.Well we both reckoned it was one of the best meals we had eaten this trip. My fish in particular had been steamed somehow in butter and was absolutely delicious and the pork too was grilled to perfection with those lovely small roast potatoes that seem to be a French speciality. Both dishes had a little pot of dressing based on blue cheese... yum!We finished with creme brulee and creme caramel, both delicious, and the total including 2 beers and a small pitcher of white wine came to just E36.So we agreed that the place is even better with the new owner.

We stopped by this small restaurant, just by chance, the other day. It doesn't stand out, although it doesn't tend to cater to smokers,like some of the other places nearby.The food was great, especially the set menu of the day, which we enjoyed immensely.A very crisp ,tasty salad surrounded a lovely quiche, preceded by a wonderful vegetable soup. As well a great shrimp entree bathed in avocado, preceded a wonderful fried chicken dish, surrounded with pommes frites (fries). The server Jonathan was extremely helpful with his good English and excellent, warm service.The bill was very acceptable for the quality.

arrive and ask for a log perrier displayed at 3.30 €. be charged 20 cts the small lemon log without warning, perrier result at 3.5€. on the note it is written supplement syrup ! After making the remark to the unpleasant server and bad faith, the one answers that it is normal and "he knows the law"! This is the first time I see this. fleeing

The welcome is at the rendezvous! ;-) the bar filled in the morning with the good odors of the coffee and its croissant or chocolate bread ;-) the boss is top smiling the dishes are correct ledessert melleux to the browns it forced me to taste it is a tuerie !Since it is me that asks for it lolts beautiful address I recommend it

I went for a drink with an old friend and we decided to enjoy a pizza at 2.Result sick all night! a horrible stomachache!!!I absolutely recommend this coffee!
