Went there for dinner and got the worst kebab ive ever had. They dont even include garlic sauce and they charge 80c for sauce on your kebab. It was dry and the meat was old and even with paying for the sauce i couldnt even taste it as there was so little put on. The service was painfully slow... even though we were the only people in the shop. The chips were also ****, not crunchy and some burnt over cooked.
Meat was greasy. Basic salad but extras were very expensive. Hommus was an extra 80c from memory and other extras (mushrooms, pineapple, cheese etc) were $1 each. Each kebab was already over $10 and included 2 non-Mediterranean sauces (eg. Sweet chilli etc). I have tasted much better. Service was average.
As a local I try and stay clear of here unless I am really drunk. Not sure about the meat/chicken being left to stew in a slow cooker as it does not have that yummy crunch that you get when it comes straight off.... Lots of extra's like basic sauces etc.
Cafe Mykonos is our go to place for an easy cheap dinner. The kebabs are excellent and the ingredients always fresh. They have a huge array of sauces and salad options to choose from and the owner is a really nice local dude who's always up for a chat. Reserva una mesa ahora
Kebab good, although more expensive but cool, unfortunately poor service. He sucked our curry there while we hate him and he still made him smart ... but it was better than the pizza bun next door ..
Ok place and kebab. Meat kept warm in Bay Marie?, but that's what happens when you don't get good greeks chooking meat only the name of the shop is greek. Service could be a bit friendlier.
I began my meal with one of the most delicious bowls of lentil soup I have ever had, followed by an outstanding dish of Cod topped with truffle oil and truffles.
This kebab snack was decent, although I have tasted better in the past. It is a good value for money option if you are on a budget. Reserva una mesa ahora
Every time I'm in Airlie I grab a kebab before heading home and these one at Cafe Mykonos are the bomb - don't miss them here.....
