Cafe Restaurant Luftsprung

I came here to have lunch before going on to a city tour. i had the Cous Cous salad, which had the Cous cous in a triangle shape, with some Mediterranean veggies, and 4 pieces of garlic bread. It was really tasty, but I couldn't eat more than one bread piece, b/c it was so filling. There was Quark on the side, which tasted good. I had a mineral water with lemon piece in it, very large glass and my lunch companion had a salad as well with shrimps and 2 very large pieces of garlic bread. She too was full. Prices were reasonable, and the locale was quiet and clean. Nice servers.

We were at the Christmas Market in downtown Nuremberg last month. It was a Sunday and the place was packed. All the restaurants were standing room only so we took a short two block walk just north I believe of the market and found Luftsprung. Would have been nicer to sit outside but it was December in Germany. The daily special was a schnitzel kartoffel for only 11.80 Euro. This was huge! It came on a platter, not a plate

We visited this restaurants with German friends. The restaurant has a very relaxed atmosphere, they serve traditional German cuisine. The food was lovely with good sized portions. We had Kaiserschmarrn, an Austrian pancake dessert, which was very tasty.

Beautiful place with atmosphere, friendly, nice staff anf great food. Soups Salads absolutely great. Will go there again when next tome in Nuremberg

Good food and lots of it, tasty vegetarian options. Lots of salad and veggies. Nice spot, nice terrace with a view. Friendly staff.
