Ume - Reservar una mesa

We had dinner in this restaurant on Friday night. The food was good - chicken teriyaki and beef with japanese noodles, seaweed salade and sushis to start with. The sushi's came too quickly to have been made "à la minute" so that was a little disappointing as not the same quality that we were used to in our sushi restaurant in St. Roche in Yverdon (where the sushi's are made in front of you totally fresh). The service was very friendly and attentive and prices very reasonable. The room is however very small and noise resounds so if you are (like us) unfortunate enough to have someone nearby who talks very loudly and telephones during their meal it's rather annoying. Overall nice experience - thanks!

We had dinner with our children and the meal was good - sushis and nems were good but the fried chicken for the children was too "fatty". I also had the miso soup and it was good but not the best I have had. The price was decent and the service was good. If you truly know Asian cuisine, this is more of a blended and good Chinese/Japanese but not the best - I prefer the Canard Pekinois for Chinese and the Japanese at the Beau Rivage or Uchitomi. Overall, we will come back to try again and will update.

A little on the expensive side but great food, and service. The inside of the restaurant is not much to see but the food was light, fresh and tasty. The food came out quickly and was nice and hot. The ladies running the restaurant were very friendly. I will return.

We made reservations for dinner. We were very happy that we did. Yes it was pricey, but worth it. We had a bottle of wine along with a la carte sushi and some soup. Service was good and friendly.
