Went there several times pre-covid. It was a great little BYOB find and the food at the time was fantastic. We returned as many of the current reviews seemed to echo our experiences pre-covid. The setting needs a major redo but it is across from the beach so I guess they think they can ignore the interior. Wasn't the cleanest place I've ever seen. The waitress was a hard worker and very sweet. We had made a reservation and wondered why there were only a few people in the restaurant on a Sunday at 4 p.m. (normally, the line would be down the street--warning signal? . Loved it!Authentic homemade Italian food in an unassuming building with a few of the beach!Service was quick and friendly. Starts with a basket of fresh Scali breadI ordered:Chicken Cutlet Spinach with Fresh Mozzarella and Pink Sauce with homemade FusilliTiramisuHomemade CannoliGreat portions. Reasonable prices. Absolutely love this place! Best Italian food around. Our must visit whenever we are back in Boston from NYC. My husband says it they make the best Veal Parmigiana ever. Great service and simple surroundings. Definitely 5 stars all around!

I’m so pleased with how things have turned out for this restaurant! The food is still fantastic, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the location is perfect. It remains the best spot in town for Italian cuisine.

Loved this restaurant! Service was great. Food was phenomenal. They had spumoni and hanging up in the middle of restaurant was a movie poster for Big night . Highly recommend!
