Cafe Rouge Windsor

This was a family outing with my 2 daughters 4 grandchildren, table booked for 12.30 pm with tickets booked for Windsor Castle time was important to us. We had 2 offers with us 40% off mains or free kids meal with every adult meal, it depended whether my eldest grandson had a childs meal or a main as to which one was used. We decided on the free childs meal with every main as he had a childs meal. All went well until we were waiting to order desserts, I had to get up and ask to order desserts, after two reminders the desserts finally turned up after about 35 mins, although we were missing one Eton Mess and one childs ice cream. The service at this restaurant was subpar. We had to wait 15 minutes for our drinks to be served, and the food we received was not what we had ordered. Additionally, we had to inquire about the change on our bill. Overall, it was not a pleasant experience.

The service at the restaurant was very fast. However, the Snails dish was not very good because it was mixed with mushrooms.

The service was excellent and the food was fantastic! I really enjoyed the atmosphere and would definitely dine here again.
