Cafe Royal - Reservar una mesa

After a good Birthday Brekkie for Mrs.B here a few years ago we thought we'd try a Birthday Lunch for me. Service was good. English Menu had plenty of choice for lunch or a Main meal. Americano Sandwich for Mrs.B a Pork Loin Baguette for me, both well enjoyed. With 2 beers a water total Bill was €15.75, they have different system for keeping the tab, they mark a card with an X against the price every time you order something, a good way to know how much the bill will be before asking for it.

We came here for a late lunch. I ordered the Spanish omelette, my husband the club sandwich. Both came relatively quickly and both tasted fine nothing special however (or as my husband would say there was no love). The omelette portion was large, but it was a bit dry the supermarket tortilla we bought the day after tasted much better. Service was rather indifferent/not warm.

Always a must for wife and myself. Been going the the Cafe Royal since 2003. The food never changes but is spot on every time. Would hate to see it change. The best coffees, sandwiches, and half chicken with salad. A must if you are in the area. It is like stepping back in time when you eat inside.

Went for breakfast before flying home after a 2 week holiday. Lovely cafe/bar. Sat outside but inside is beautiful. Ordered English breakfast, tuna bocadillo, beans on toast with bacon, 2 smoothies pot of tea. Food was delicious service great. Wouldn’t hesitate on returning.
