Cafe Strudel West Columbia

The grits here are amazing, so creamy and rich, they are stone ground which makes the texture way more interesting and satisfying than the machine ground quick grits. The atmosphere and staff are lovely. The building and furniture have lots of character, local artists decorate the walls with their beautiful offerings. I came here with my wife and 2 old friends to catch up and we dined and chatted for nearly 2 hours over brunch. It's a local favorite.

The bartender is very professional and clean kept and was able to remember everyone's order without writing anything down. And our order was just as we asked. Was very please. If ever in the west Columbia, cayce area I definitely would recommend sitting at the bar and having mr Alaric take your order. Was very polite and friendly

Love going here and just getting coffee solo or with company! The welcoming dog friendly patio is perfect outdoor venue. Parking: There is parking on the street I would go for that first. But they have limited number of spots behind the building. Kid-friendliness: Kids menus with crayons, not to quite not to loud just right!

This restaurant was hands down THE best we visited while in Columbia, SC! Hats off to the cook, skills are impeccable! Special thanks to Carly... awesome service and so pleasant!! We will definitely return next time we visit Columbia. Thanks!!

They were busy on Saturday around 10:30-11:00, so we sat on the outside patio. Parking: Parking in back of building and in street. If this is all filled up, there is a parking lot available down a few buildings on State Street.

Wonderful experience. Alyric (Bartender with dreads) had the best customer service. He is a Great bartender and drinks were sensational. I recommend the pre game and ask for a lyric.
