These are the kindest people in cafes that I know, all Algerian(which is great) and all staff are fluent in French, Algerian Arabic and English. Amazing! Good for polyglots!The coffee is good and at a reasonable price, the cakes, panini, crepes and ice creams are all delicious! Always served with a smile! Good Covid 19 measures too.You can easily chat away with friends inside or sit near the open doors and watch the world go by! Sometimes you can stay awhile and work there. Boxing Day and very little open in Bedford. We were pointed towards Crema by locals. Ordered coffee and mince pies a problem the card machine had stopped working and we have got used to not carrying cash. We had enough cash to pay for the coffee but not the mince pies. It didn’t matter Take it and Merry Christmas said the man behind the counter. And the coffee was lovely so thank you Cafe Crema and a very happy new year to you.
Every time I visit Bedford I stop by at Cafe Crema in the High Street. The coffee is excellent the food superb. The guys serving are very friendly, always up for a chat. There's plenty of seating and service is top rate. Just hoping they survive the Corona crises. Good luck guys hopefully see you soon.
French Algerian staff are so efficient, welcoming and fast at coffees and food eg crepes and gelati! Cosy environment with quiet tables at the back. I’ve been visiting Cafe Crena for years and been practising my French and Algerian with the guys! Fantastique!!!! Maggie

Best coffee and service in Bedford. Staff are always polite and remember you even though I only pop in once or twice per year due to working throughout the day. The food is lovely and the coffee is always great- recommend a cappuccino for loads of micro foam!
This is the best cafe in Bedford. Lots of selection and there is something for everyone. Good service with a friendly atmosphere. You won't be disappointed and you will find your be returning. Can't wait till tomorrow. Great guys.
Popped in here quickly on a Saturday afternoon after a morning out and about. Not been in before, the the staff were lovely, plenty of seating, great Italian coffee and lots of sweet treats to choose from. Would return.
This restaurant has fantastic coffee, cakes, and paninis. The staff members are friendly and always treat you like a friend. We love coming here for coffee and wouldn't consider going anywhere else.

This is without doubt the best café in Bedford the staff are very friendly and the food is excellent with the emphasis on quality and quantity you will not find a better café anywhere in Bedford.
Stopped for breakfast during a recent visit to Bedford. Had the Eggs Benedict which was fab and a large Cafe Latte. Staff friendly and service prompt, definitely worth a visit!
