We stopped at this restaurant on our way home from Scotland to Suffolk for lunch. I'm glad I didn't read reviews beforehand because I might not have stopped, but I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the service. The food was delicious, home-cooked, and a step above the usual fast food options. Although a bit pricey, it was worth it. The seating area was comfortable, the toilets were clean, and there was a charming farm shop on site. Despite the high prices and expensive fuel, it was a nice break in an otherwise boring journey.
I have recently visited Cairn Lodge, Tebay, and Gloucester services for their pleasant atmosphere and excellent facilities. However, I am perplexed by the fact that all three establishments have their delicious cakes and pastries on display at the entrance of the shops without any covering. In today's world, where viruses and bugs are a concern, it would be more appealing to see them under a simple cloche for protection.
We visited on our way down to Wales and again on our way back. There is plenty of parking. It is dog friendly which is always a bonus. Excellent toilet facilities too. The cafe is excellent and staff are friendly. My wife is vegetarian and always finds something nice to eat. The farm shop is amazing as well with lots to buy. An excellent selection of drinks and food. The takeout coffee is great too
here on the way back to london. simply one of the best service stations we have about us. beautiful building and very welcoming environment. the food was very delicious hot breakfast and baked. I would recommend the product breakfast! bauernhof was well equipped and excellent. but above all, the personal was just so helpful and nice. will stop here again definitiw.

Had a fantastic lunch at the service station which has been newly acquired by the TeBay Group. The car park was nearly at capacity and the lunch service was bustling with customers. It was evident that the word had spread about this place. However, it's best to steer clear of refueling here as the fuel prices are quite high.
amazing services, beautiful environment. an epic selection of food, we were only overwhelmed and sausage balls that were very delicious. small area for dogs in inner and free space loads. the restaurant bit was nice and well sorted shop. will stop again and recommend others on a long trip. the personal also beautiful.
Decent food if a bit pricey. Showers in the filling station are q great idea but it would help if they were even remotely warm tried to get a shower at Main building closed. All three showers in petrol station. Blocked off with mop handles in the door handles. . Very poor from what's supposed to be the best services.
bauernhof service station, simply the best services on the autobahn. super eating, much better than the usual fastfoof frying. clean, airy, open. cheap prices, lots of parking. a large service, although the staff was knocked away from the feet, the staff had a smile and a cheerful arrangement.

Ridiculously expensive. A Scotch Pie £4. Basic Chicken sandwich £5.38 However, lovely produce. Can someone please water the plants in the foyer? They are almost completely dried out. I bought two bottles of water in the Cafe and watered them myself Thank you
