The crab had a stale taste, lacking freshness. The seafood seemed as if it was merely boiled in plain water and then dipped in the sauce. The sauce itself was very thick and lacked any true Cajun flavor, resembling more of a slightly garlicky spicy paste. Don't anticipate the typical garlic butter Cajun sauce you might find at a regular Vietnamese Cajun restaurant. While the shrimp and clams were fresh, I really wished the sauce had a better flavor.
The experience was decent; perhaps it was my fault for requesting mild when I was hoping for a bit of spice. However, the 1/2 lb Jumbo Shrimp was actually quite impressive—the shrimp was cooked perfectly and the potatoes were fantastic! The Lemon Pepper Wings (6) were just okay; nothing extraordinary, but they were enjoyable. I was pleasantly surprised by the eggs served with the shrimp!
Love their garlic noodles. Love how its loaded with garlic. Ordered just the garlic noodles for my mother in law. And then later in the day ordered Seafood Garlic Noodle for myself to bring to work.
The Cajun sauce you can tell they made with flour its was pretty thick. I did not like it. The crab was okay. However, I wont be back. Reserva una mesa ahora
