excellent! the best afternoon we had (including hotel du vin and grosvenor). we came to a warm and cheerful reception and became with a fabulous tea touch. once set we were served a nice selection of soft, fresh finger sandwiches. shortly after the finish we were presented with our cake stand with some beautiful, tasteful and warm scorpses at the top, both top and simply with a pot jam and saw. Below sat a plate filled with an exciting selection of beautifully made, delicious cakes. we had pink Meringue nests, chocolate gateaux blocks, creamy slender cake and an extraordinary orange cake that still lets me saliva when I think of it! I attended a lovely afternoon tea today for a hen party today. The range of Sandwiches and cakes was amazing especially as I need a gluten free option. The atmosphere in the venue was amazing. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Highly recommended for either a few friends or for a big event. Thank you to everyone at Cakes the difference for a really lovely afternoon.

the birthday cake of my daughter mamma mia surpassed my expectations far! it was an art work and tasted absolutely delicious! the customer service was warm, friendly and efficient everything they hope it would be. the owner was flexible and understanding when we had to remove our cake booking due to covid. thanks! we will definitely be back for future party cake!

Lovely lunch with friends. Small locally run tea rooms. The cake slices are enormous and delicious. The lunch menu items are perfect and served with a lovely salad (and dressing if desired). very friendly staff. The scones arrived warmed with generous amount of jam and cream. What's not to like
