I went to this place spontaneously because my kids wanted to go to the arcade in Lakewood Mall... I live in Cerritos so we usually have the best foods nearby... Anyways, this place is okay, the price is okay... Okay... The only thing is the cashier lady is kind of loud and obnoxious. I don't know if she's deaf or something but don't get me wrong. She is very Nice still. To be honest, I think we went to high school together. I'm proud for her because she never used to be this loud at school... And now she's over here running the place up front. I'm not saying that she's the owner, I don't know if she is, but the way she is loud and obnoxious is giving me those vibes of she's been here for a w...
The problem with any sushi place is that it’s not easy to hide a mid-tier sushi. Unfortunately, this is among those restos that have meh sushi. It will fill you up, but you won’t come back for it.With this in mind, it’s not shocking that the ramen is just instant noodles in flavored broth. The flavor of the soup is good, though.The tempura is also subpar. The shrimp is reaallly dry. The vegetable tempura is good. Stick with that.The salad is good, but it’s hard to mess that up.The tables and the place overall is clean, but the bussing carts are occasionally left in the dining area so that is also a fail.Price is a little high for the quality you get so skip this altogether.
I loved my food...warm and got it in a timely manner...delicious!! The only thing is the cashier....not very friendly kind of dry....soldier like...she was on the phone with someone regarding her register system and was very rude with customers in restaurant.... Another customer mentioned to her that there was a lot of people outside waiting...she answer very sarcastically...if can ignore the customer service....then you will love their food.
I ordered 2 California city rolls and 2 teriyaki beef bowls tonight. I asked for 2 extra wasabi for the rolls. Normally you get an extra teriyaki sauce with a beef bowl. Really sucks driving all the way across town and coming home to find no extra wasabi , no teriyaki sauce , and have to pay 50 bucks for it, and the meat seamed boiled or done in a pan when before it seamed to be grilled over fire. They have changed for the better recently. I've been going here for years and I started avoiding it, but recently tried it again and they definitely switched something up because everything is of great quality now. The rice is perfectly cooked and moist, the chicken bowl gets so much more white meat and zero fat, dumplings are delicious! And the employees are very nice. Whatever they did, I'm happily back again!
It's the best chicken teriyaki in the area. The rice was cooked to a perfect fluff. Not too sticky, nor too dry. The chicken was moist and flame charred just enough to taste it in each bite. The teriyaki sauce isn't to sweet or salty, with a soft teriyaki flavor that doesn't overpower other flavors. It's definitely a new regular spot.
