Callahan's Steak House In Siloam Spr

1st time here, sat at the bar. It took some time before my drink order was taken and I was the only person at the bar.. It was 4pm on a Thursday and the restaurant wasn't that busy. My 1st drink was empty when my food was served. The server said she's get me another, but I was 3/4 done with my steak before I got it. Again, I was the only person at the bar. When I was done, I sat there for 10 solid minutes and my server was right in front of me but never gave me my ticket. I then asked another server for my ticket. She printed it off and handed it to me with no words spoken. I noticed that the ticket was incorrect and I actually owed more than what the ticket said. When my regular server finally did come back by I told her my ticket was wrong and that I should owe more. She fixed it and gave it to me. I had the New York strip steak, It was a nice cut of meat however it had no flavor. I had to put salt and pepper on it to try to bring some kind of flavor out of it. I noticed several others in the restaurant salting their steaks too. Cooked perfectly, nice cut, but no flavor. For my New York strip steak and two beers and the tip (20% it was almost $50 for one person. With marginal service, no flavor steak, I cannot recommend this place. Oh and by the way the bread was just so so. Not near as good as some other major steak chains.

Once seated, waited nearly an hour for the food. Rice was burned on the bottom. Nearly everything was average. The server was kind and did all that could be done. Not nearly the experience we had hoped for at this price point.

Great food and big portions for a fair price. All the staff is wonderful!
