I had the chicken biscuit and hot chocolate and paid nearly $20 and I threw it away after I took this picture. Very disappointed! The biscuit was massive and extremely dry and crumbly, the chicken was so thin and small compared to the dry biscuit. Ordered online delivery for the holidays. Shipped to Colorado. Fed ex left this perishable item laying around for 5 days extra before being delivered. Items were pitched. They do recommend an extra $35 for two day delivery. Makes these very high priced. The others ordered and shipped to the mid west were fine. I had high expectations for Callie’s as I have heard a lot of good things. I was a bit disappointed when I tried their biscuits for the first time. They were no no means bad but they were oily and dense where i prefer light and fluffy biscuits. But still, good service and a cute staple in Charleston for sure.
