The Festive Menu 2023 tempted our family group and we were highly satisfied! The stilton walnut mushroom paté on sourdough was delightfully crispy with a well-balanced flavor, complemented by the sourdough. The carrot roulade with seasonal fillings and vegetables was truly fulfilling and delicious. The final touch was a heavenly lemon white chocolate cheesecake with spiced berries (locally grown), paired with a hot spiced non-alcoholic punch. The portion sizes were perfect as well! This vegetarian gem deserves full support from the community.
One of our favourite local lunch places the restaurant supplies some delicious and well prepared house specials that have never disappointed, always with fresh salads etc. that are fresh very tasty. We also on occasion buy the bread and/or honey there. It's been clearly a success because quite recently the car park was extended to cope with the increase in customers. It is also a facility serving the local community that deserves to be supported. Worth ringing first to book a slot though it's pretty popular!
We went to this restaurant for lunch on a Monday and it had a great atmosphere. The special offer included delicious home baked sourdough bread, fresh English asparagus with a lentil salad topped with mozzarella. For dessert, we enjoyed a tasty ginger cheesecake with rhubarb compote. During our meal, we saw the local Concrete Cow Brewery delivering fresh cases of their local brew. The service was fast and the staff were friendly.
Whilst cruising along the Grand Union we decided to stop here for elevenses. What a lovely place. The food was very good value and home made and the service was very friendly. We browsed in the onsite shop afterwards and bought some delicious freshly baked bread which was thoroughly enjoyed later back on our boat. We will definitely be back.

Had high hopes for this cafe but was a bit disappointed. The restaurant was very noisy although it was pretty empty. It could just be the design of it, lots of wood etc and nothing to absorb the noise. The food was okay, the service was a bit lacking maybe as it was later in the day, not sure we would revisit unfortunately...
This restaurant is a wonderful place to enjoy tea and cake while strolling around the parks, lakes, and canals in MK. It is a vegetarian social enterprise that provides support for adults in need, and they do an excellent job for both the adults and customers. They also offer a variety of delicious gluten-free cake options.
Food was a delight with fresh and innovative flavours both in main meal salad and seasonal dessert. You can take home lovely bread and other baked items like premium biscuits. Service was good and welcoming. Nice space for outdoor dining in fine weather.
Ot visited in ages and it's still as good as ever. Good freshly cooked healthy food, well served and surroundings are great too. Will definately return, it's a fantastic facility employing people with learning difficulties and it's a privilege to see.

Love this place, good service and tasty food. It's vegetarian which is a pleasant change from most cafes. We're not vegetarians but appreciated the lovely salad that was prepared for us. Definitely reccomend.
