Can Quel - Reservar una mesa

This restaurant would be fantastic if you could pick up your own food instead of waiting for any kind of service. The kitchen is awesome. Unfortunately, the wait staff is not only overloaded, their arrogance kills any joy of being there on the beautiful seaside. If you ask a customer how everything was, and you get an honest answer, the worst thing you can do is defend yourself. Simply apologize and move on. Instead, our waitress insisted on defending the indefensible. If she had left it at, “Oh, I’m sorry it didn’t go well.” We would have given it another shot, since we live around the corner, and as I said, the food is very good at an excellent price. But no. She had to let her mouth run and finish with an ironic statement. Paso. Gracias.

We have been there having lunch one day during our vacation around the area of Barcelona and Costa Brava. The food was nice, good selection of fish and rice, and local products as well. The dessert was not my cup of tea, quite simple and not homemade. Anyway, highly recommended!

Can Quel is a regular restaurant situated at the first line of the beach at Palamos, right at the boulevard. They serve nice tapas and seafood. Please try the fantastic tallarines seafood and typical bravas potatoes. A good place for daily menu with friends at a good price.

Stopped off here on the way to where we were staying for lunch. It's small but service is quick, attentive and helpful. They also have an English menu which was useful. Food quality was good but the Tapas wasn't what I expected.

Could be good, I suspect, but we had no luck, with a too long wait (with not so many clients with this time of year) and food no so good
