We went on a Saturday lunchtime in October, and it was moderately busy which should have been a really good sign. The food was poor however, I had the Caesar salad from the menu and Churrasco. The salad was disappointing, the amount of anchovy overpowered the whole thing, and the dressing was certainly not a Caesar dressing. The churrasco was inedible, all bones, and very little meat. The cut is never what could be described as tender, I love it because of the taste when cooked on a brasa, but I have never been served with a plate of bones before! My husband had the menu, the fish soup was warm, but tasted ok, pork was tough, both our meals were garnished with an unappetising half dry baked potato, and I was astonished to see a fellow diners' plate garnished with a pile of potato chips (thin cut crisps from a packet). Another diners fideua was dried out and crunchy, they ate about a third of it. Why is this place busy? There is no love in the food at all, and very little care taken with either cooking or presentation. The presentation of the room however is very nice, clothed tables and napkins, very easy parking and access from the dual carriageway. Service completely acceptable, neither slow nor quick. Dessert was very nice, chocolate cake with ice cream. At 16 euros for the menu there is much better value and quality to be had.
