We decided we wanted to stay in the hotel complex for dinner TT was at the base of the east tower elevator so we tried it we sat on the deck overlooking the ocean the service was impeccable my wife had a patron margarita She said it was the best she gas ever had. Good start. Our server was fast to greet us and take our order of course when in Rome we had Tacos they came fast really fast big plus... my wife had the signature chicken tacos I had two el pastor and one chicken ... First the tacos are huge the pastor 's were topped with cilantro and pineapple hmmmmm and were fantastic the chicken was local raised and very good. We also had the guacamoleI will say it was a bit different I had cila...

Ok this place is good if you know what to order... and I'm going to tell you right now. First, skinny margarita is delicious and large. No hangovers and less calories/sugar. Second, we tried the chicken tinga taco. It was just ok. I should've trusted the other reviews. The tacos are just ok. Nothing noteworthy. Third, order the ribeye!!!! Trust me. It's worth it if you can share with someone else. It's delicious and comes with corn tortillas, onion, cilantro, homemade salsa, beans and amazing potatoes drizzled with either sour cream or crema. You can even go crazy and order the guacamole as your appetizer, and then save some for your ribeye. Oh man! Overall a solid meal. Satisfied our steak...

This place was simply dreadful. The service was slow, even by local standards. Worse still was, despite their name, they made lousy margaritas. Perhaps we're the example that proves the definition of insanity but we tried drinks from them several times before realizing the only way they could credibly serve a tequila drink was as shots. And the food wasn't any better. Their guacamole was tasteless. Their tacos (the other part of their name) were smallish corn tortillas with bits of the main ingredients (shrimp, beef, what have you) covered with a mound of lettuce and a bit of oily sauce. Tacos Tequila is a good place to avoid in an otherwise lovely hotel.

We went with a party of 9. We got the guacamole, the corn appetizer, the Queso and the tuna appetizer to start. I loved the corn and Queso dish. The guac and tuna were good. I had the fish tacos for dinner. The fish was perfect with great crisp and flavor. We were a large group so everything took a while which is understandable. I did not love the prices. The margarita was something like $17 or $19. This place is good but just know you will be spending some decent money to go here. The hotel it is in is very pretty. I would have loved to have a drink at the hotels bar which was gorgeous. Overall good experience just expensive for what it is. Reserva una mesa ahora

Beautiful restaurant but we felt a tad out of place. Very fancy, not what you would expect from a place called Tacos and Tequila. The ocean is right there in your face. Fantastic. Food was ok Hubby got carne asada tacos and he liked them really well. I was a little under the weather so just got soup. It was very good but too salty for me. I am someone who considers salt a food group. The margaritas were good. Hubby got the jalapeño and it had this funky charcoal salt on the rim. Again very salty but interesting. I got the skinny margarita, again just a little under the weather. Service was excellent!

Great find with a perfect view. A little slow to get our drinks out but food came quickly. We ordered the guac and shishito peppers both which were great. Tacos came in either sets of 2 or 3. Super tasty- no complaints at our table. Ask for their hot sauce. Seems homemade and very yummy. They are located on the backside of the hotel. We took the path to the right after eating and came upon the public beach where we got some sun after!

Ambiance was lackluster, however this was the biggest low of the restaurant, it feels like spare space the hotel had and turned it into a restaurant. Although the bartenders were a little slow, they were very friendly, and albeit new/still learning. Juvenal was super upbeat and charismatic, Imar (Floor Captain) was also very sweet and genuine. Everyone was working diligently, and food was very yummy, as well as the cocktails!

Good atmosphere but the food is a pricey and an absolute joke. I ordered two fish tacos and one al pastro the fish taco was okay, but merely lukewarm, and the al pastor felt like pork jerky with dressing and served with canned pineapple. I asked for salsa on the side and they charged $3 more for a small salsa. Oh well ‍ Overall, the food is incredibly disappointing (having read the review before coming). Reserva una mesa ahora

View is really pretty. Food is decent. Our waiter was amazing. We both got tacos and being able to mix and match was awesome but they weren't anything special in our opinion. Also did you know hot sauce is $3
