Canhao Ii - Reserva de mesa

I visited with my partner and mom to celebrate my partner 's birthday in May. The food was nice, but I was disappointed that the advertised fillet steak was not a fillet at all, but possibly a sirloin. That said, it was nicely cooked, but just not what was expected. My partner had the prawn starter and said it was beautiful (and he could eat it again! The main problem with the restaurant though is the fact that both my mom and myself have respiratory issues and we asked to be seated away from a smoker. They accommodated this, to an extent, but the wind was blowing the cigarette smoke in our direction and despite me coughing, quite violently, the smoker continued to chain smoke and another sm...

La situación de este restaurante es con vistas al mar, en alto y en una explanada que viene muy bien si vas con niños. Hay comedor interior y también terraza. La comida está bien pero quizás no es la mejor que hemos probado en Sesimbra. Comimos almejas a Bulhao Pato, cataplana de mariscos y Lubina (robalo) a la brasa. El servicio un poco lento y no todo lo profesional que la apariencia del restaurante requiere. El precio tal vez un poco por encima de lo esperado.

The food and service was great, lovely sea views but eat inside…and drinks etc outside…hundreds of flies made it impossible to enjoy. Thought it was just us and the grilled fish but the table next to us also had meat and was even worse!! Not really the restaurants fault I guess but I would hope it’s something that could be dealt with

The location of the restaurant is located in town. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food and drinks arrived on time. The service was fast and efficient. I would highly recommend this restaurant to people who love eating fish and seafood. Reserva una mesa ahora

We have visited twice whilst on holiday. Lovely varied menu. My sardines where the best I’ve ever had. Great chips which were homemade. Free salad. Staff lovely and views glorious. A slight walk from main area but great to get away from the crowds.

To me its better than canhao 1. More choices of menu and a more efficient staff. The view to california beach is breath taking.The fish choices were delicious. Parking on side not expensive. 10 meters from beach!

Het leek ons leuk om aan het strand traditioneel cataplana vis te eten. De porties waren voldoende, maar de smaak was erg vlak en smakeloos.Kon niet tippen aan eerder elders door ons gegeten cataplana vis.

Visited this restaurant a couple of times whilst we stayed in Sesimbra, food was great, staff were friendly and a lovely setting overlooking the beach Reserva una mesa ahora

Ate well and we were well served. Good range of food and drinks. Sunny location at the end of the superbly clean California Beach.

A great location and offers Meat dishes as well as European.. I am from UK. Really enjoyed and not too dear.
