The store has a large selection of grocery items (same brands as Foodland and Sobey's) at standard prices. They have their own bakery that does excellent bread and rolls - always fresh. They sell Kawartha Dairy ice cream and milk at supermarket prices and have fresh local produce. The high end cheese selection often has amazing bargains. And then there is the deli section. The various household items are there as a matter of convenience if you haven't stocked up you can find what you need. They are succeeding in the way they deserve. Washago never had it so good. To be clear this is a store and not a restaurant. Go across the street to R Cottage if you want to be served a meal you will remem...

Great little grocery store. So nice to have a grocery store in Washago. The deli in the back makes amazing sandwiches (love the turkey and brie on a croissant yum:) I wish they would get a bigger meat selection as I usually stop daily for dinner ingredients and it gets hard with the same 5 choices every day, that said produce is great and prices are comparable with big name grocery stores.

Canoe is an excellent addition to Washago. The groceries are well priced for cottage country and the people are nice. The ribs are excellent and I have requests from friends in Toronto to bring them back for them. The bakery is small and could be expanded, but I can get everything I need there. Love this place!!

If your looking for a 6 dollar pound of butter or 3 dollar box of Kraft dinner this is your place. Everything in the store is almost double the price of a variety store and tripple the price of a grocery store. They claim they bake their own goods yet it's always stale and sometimes spoiled. Avoid......

The Staff are always super helpful, even when you call in. The hours are great, the deli in the back makes a turkey sandwich with sautéed apples which is basically the best thing I've ever tasted. The prices are great, and the baker is amazing. I'm so glad they are in Washago.

The Canoe Scoops Ice-cream parlor is a great spot for an afternoon ice-cream treat especially on a hot day. This place is strictly and ice-cream spot and serves Kawartha Diary products. It has lots of flavours.

This is a great place to get any groceries you may need. The prices are good. They have an on premises bakery with excellent choices. The buns and bread are excellent. The service is superb.

One of the best things to happen in Washago after the railway came through. Everything you need food wise plus a good deli, always fresh bread and a superb staff Keep up the good work.

I love the mixed berry pie from the bakery. It's amazing! I should pick one up for Thanksgiving (and a few other things) to save myself the hassle and time of baking! ????

You can get everything here, including fresh baked goods, prepared food, take out coffee. It's great.
