Cantina - Reserva de mesa

Stopped by on a weekday afternoon at 4pm. I can see this place being crowded at nighttime but we got a table for 2 with no wait. We tried the cantina chicken wings with the tequila pomegranate sauce and it was INCREDIBLE! They give about 8 wings for $13 and the chicken is juicy and the sauce adds the perfect flavor. The wings were a little hot so anyone averse to spice should avoid but if you can tolerate a little heat spice they were out of this world! We also had the spicy shrimp tacos and those were very delicious. They come with garlic, butter, red onion, pico de gallo, and chipotle mayo. There was a perfect amount of shrimp in each bite. They also bring out chips and salsa for the table...

Nice outdoor seating. Ok drinks, nothing amazing. Not good vegetarian options. When I ordered the corn taco, I thought in my mind it would be corn tamale style pudding. It was just corn kernels, warmed up from a freezer bag, with some cheese sprinkled on. Then there was a rather wet zucchuini taco and one othe vegeatrian taco that was so unmemorable I dont remember it (ahem). They were all bad. They were eat to live food rather than live to eat food. I would really love to find a Mexican restaurant that specializes in vegetarian cuisine. Its not like Mexico doesnt grow a ton of good stuff.

Gorgeous space and great vibe. All age inclusive atmosphere (over 21 of course). Great utilization of a small space. Cozy seating areas, friendly, and super efficient bartenders. The downstairs restaurant’s bathrooms were amazingly clean, and private.. as in —who does not want total seclusion for those bathroom moments with floor to ceiling stall walls and door enclosures?? serious appreciation kudos for that, design crew!! Didn’t eat a thing but it looked amazing as we headed to the roof and judging from the crowded dining room families love dining here.

Happy hour 3 6. Cantina Nachos are fire! $5 . Chicken moist and nicely spiced. Jalapeño easy to pick off, (but I didn't). Margaritas are healthy pour and tasty. Bartender is personable and bubbly. Great vibe. Reserva una mesa ahora

Dietary restrictions: Gluten-Free options are clearly marked on the menu. No issues with cross contamination any time we've been there. I had the steak salad.
