"Wonderful experience, very pricey but well worth the time, food was typically French, small portions, staff was excellent, great facility, right on the water and apparently just a Jet Ski trip from Monaco"

Cap Estel is a little slice of heaven on Earth. Even prior to arrival, Enodie in reception was intuitive and very accommodating with our later than anticipated arrival. The staff was very welcoming and friendly, polite and very accommodating. Dinner at Le Table of Patrick Raingeard was exquisite. The pace was well timed, the food was simply beautiful, a truly a piece of art. Having some of the best restaraunts available to us in our hometown, we have come to expect the best and this restaurant did not disappoint. Thanks to Jun, our sommelier for choosing beautiful wines to accompany our tasting menu and to Sebastian for his guidance with the cheeses and friendly nature. We enjoyed the abilit...

A really private and hidden place. It has 1 Michelin star if I’m not mistaken. The hotel it’s beautiful and their terrace it’s just...breathtaking . It feels like the backyard are of a huge mansion. A for their valet parking. for live music. I went to Le Ficus which was on the terrace , the food was alright ... but I must admit that the portions were tiny , prices really high AND POOR SERVICE , really poor. Their waiters had this attitude towards us when we asked for a glass of wine instead of a bottle of wine because we were driving. The waitress poured us a tiny amount of wine and made a face when she left. Besides this they didn’t even bother to give us the menus after waiting like 15 min...

This place lives up to and actually exceeds the beauty of the pictures you see. Sometimes the photography of the hotels make it look “more than it is” but you will NOT be disappointed. Perhaps the unique thing about this hotel (besides its stunning location and views and its special history) is the grounds, pool areas, etc are huge compared to the small amount of guest rooms (there are only 28 rooms). The grounds are absolutely amazing so many spots to enjoy the wonderful view, have a meal or drinks. A very large pool and sun deck area and then another sundeck area down on the sea. Didn’t want to leave. Service was top notch without being pretentious. From front desk who helped with everythi...

We didn’t stay here but decided to pop in for lunch. The hotel itself is beautiful and the views grounds were outstanding. The restaurant is in the garden, sadly not looking out to sea. The food was nice not amazing but was tasty. However, the meal was ruined by a plague of wasps, at one point there were six hovering around the table. When the waitress eventually noticed the flailing and napkin wafting she brought a pot of burning coffee, which did little. We moved inside and noticed that there were no insect traps, no major deterrents, and even the kitchen staff were being harassed by wasps. If I were staying here, paying the room prices, and eating here regularly, I would be hugely disappo...

We stayed for 6 nights in aplace that I can only describe as Paradise. We ate 3 times at Le Ficus and once at Le Restaurant. Salah the manager at Ficus looked very well after us, and knew our name , guided us through th emenu which was excellent . We also had the Sunday buffet which was fresh, crisoy and a pleasure to look at. The fish and meat from the BBQ was prepared to perfection. The othe restaurant at Cap Estel is Michelin stared and dinner under Chef Patrick was an experience never to be forgotten. From Amuse Bouche to main course and desert everything presented and prepared to perfection.

I was invited for my Birthday dinner at the restaurant at Cap Estel. The main-restaurant was fully booked but several tables were empty. We were seated down by the pool, quite romantic but so dark that you could not see what was on your plate. I have had the Cesar-salad which contains 50 percent of slimy large bacon-pieces. The chicken was tough and tasteless and the night after the dinner I had an upset stomach. The service was very poor. All in all a great disappointment and I certainly will never dine there again.

Visited here in Summer 2020 and stayed in the The Sea section of the hotel overlooking Cap private beach and the bay of Cap d'Ail. Each room is furnished in the style of an ocean-liner's cabin. We were very excited to have discovered a property where we could spend some of our Summers however the handling of the reservation was very odd and how it was resolved didn't leave a good taste. On that basis we would not return.

I booked this for my husband's 30th as a surprise but emailed to let the restaurant know. I was disappointed that nothing was done for him (didn't even say happy birthday). We had the 7 course tasting menu which was high quality and very good. The bar staff in the hotel were more friendly than in the restaurant.
