Capo San Martino - Reservar una mesa

Capo San Martino sits on the top of a hill along the road to Mendrisio. It is a popular restaurant especially where the view is concerned. The service is perfect if you speak Italian otherwise you have a communication problem, and they have an extensive menu to go with it. The food is as good as the menu is large. Excellent!!You will not regret going there. There is also a Casino and a Night Club.Like everything in Switzerland it tends to be on the more expensive side but the fabulous view makes up for it.

we were four with our two little children dinner on recommendation of our hotel. the location is very beautiful on a cliff above the luganersee with great panoramic view. eating is well presented and appealing. the wine card is very well stocked and the sommelier has made us good recommendations. all in all a fair value for money. only really negative point: the restaurant is very large and therefore comes a bit more touristy and correspondingly hosts groups of travel.

dinner with colleagues. restaurant located on a beautiful promontory overlooking the lake. Very suggestive view. Inside the place there were dozens of really wonderful orchids. The first fish were very good and well presented. delicious desserts. The meringue was amazing. Good wine to the glass. Good service, very nice waiters. A bit expensive, but the quality for what we ate was level. Recommended for romantic couples.

we ate on August 1 at the restaurant Capo San Martino. The kitchen surprised us for quality and creativity, highlighting the Swiss products. The possibility of having some excellent wines at the glass I find very interesting the fireworks have made it contour has an evening already of its magnificent. The place is simply breathtaking. We ate a risotto frutti di marre and spaghetti with seafood too and it was very good and not too expensive. So a breathtaking view of the lake and the city of lugano with a correct price meal for the place and a very friendly and welcoming staff but we had the chance to be very little in the restaurant. Arrival on Friday at 11:30. I advise to book beforehand.

undoubtedly the view is very suggestive and the menu offers many possibilities. The food is good, but the staff, on the occasion when I went to this restaurant, was very rude and quite slow (the restaurant was not crowded). I don't feel like recommending it, maybe it was an unfortunate evening, but I wouldn't come back.

the strength is the location on the lake: in case of good weather it is really worth it. regarding the kitchen: quality of proposals and indisputable service. correct prices in relation to the offer.
