the capriccios italian restaurant in picturesqueny offers an extensive menu with Italian standard dishes. we chose the pesce alla milanese, cannelloni ripieni and garlic brot. the pesce consistent with two massive fish fillets that, as it turned out, were not cooked evenly. after a considerable waiting the waiter came back to the table to inform us that there is not enough of the meat cannelloni to complete the serving, so I decided to take two flesh and two spinat and ricota to round the court. no real problems with the, except the time it took when we placed the order until we were informed, an order could not be filled. as soon as it arrives, the cannelloni was in the round what I expecte...
we visited from brisbane and chose this place for dinner last minute on a Friday night. the service was slightly aired, but it was extremely busy and the employees were of their feet. without that eating was probably the best real Italian I had eaten in extremely long time. the decor is cheesy and interesting and the live music created a beautiful ambiente. the price for the portion size was fantastic. I'd go back in a way.
AVOID THIS PLACE. Pizza dough was hard as a rock, Raviolli not authentically made and floating in cream with no flavour at all. Alarm bells should have rang when we witnessed kitchen staff wipe his nose with his hand and proceeded to put fillings on pizza. We complained about food and were offered no apology. Complete waste of $102 (which included a bottle of $30 wine) Avoid at all costs!!!!
waited 50 min on burned pizza. definitiw not authentic, but on the plus side it does not do so to be something that it is not. the teig wasn't great. the personal seemed friendly/kind.

Terrible pizza. Thick tasteless base like a supermarket base. If you like the pizza and decor of take away Aussie pizza parlours of the 80s you're in for a treat.

beautiful service, not long to wait for good. pizza was great. seems to be family-run, but if not the staff are very well trained and a close team!
Great pizza... don't know about the rest... Great pizza.... tip for others.. if you want steak dont order it at a PIZZA place! Just a tip!
