<br/ Visited this European influenced cafe on a Saturday Lunch. We sat outside and were able to enjoy the amazing Docklands view.<br/ <br/ We had the three dishes in total, firstly, the warm brown rice salad with extra smoked ocean trout. It was delicious, the sauce has a little sweet finish. We also had the croque madame croissant, which is a nice twist on the traditional croque madame by using croissant instead. It tasted nice, could use a little more cheese but pretty good in general. Lastly, we also had the meatloaf that came with maple bourbon BBQ sauce and potato rosti. This is probably my favourite dish out of the three.<br/ <br/
During our recent 5-day stay at Docklands in Melbourne, we enjoyed breakfast every morning at Capri Cafe and Lounge at The Sebel. It was a relaxing experience, perfect for sleeping in and breaking your fast. The food was exceptional with a wide variety of traditional breakfast options, including their own delicious smoked trout. The eggs were always cooked perfectly and the garlic thyme mushrooms were a standout dish. The open kitchen allowed us to watch the chefs at work, who appeared happy and relaxed. The prices were very reasonable and the coffee was some of the best we've ever had. Overall, a fantastic way to start the day.
I started with the Cod Croquettes, which were perfectly crunchy and salty. The Smoked Paprika Octopus was incredibly tender, and I really enjoyed the capsicum salsa that accompanied it. For my main course, we treated ourselves to the beef cheek, which was so tender it practically melted in my mouth. The Orange Glazed Chicken was also superb, featuring deliciously crispy skin. The Salsa Verde was an amazing addition that just melted away!
For dessert, we indulged in the Affogato and the Churros, both of which were fantastic. The Churros were light and plentiful! The coffee was great, too. Thank you for a lovely experience!
Melbourne is somewhat limited in choice for breakfast on a Sunday morning. This was the only place open for many blocks around when we stayed overnight in the city. Covid has done some damage I guess. The Cafe had a que out the door, was taking around 5 minutes at the counter to serve each individual customer, had no-one clearing tables as they emptied and was a general botch up. When our turn finally came we ordered simple eggs, one arrived 10 minutes before the other. You would need to be desperate to visit here.

My wife and I called in for a coffee and a bite to eat as this place was close to where we were staying we thought we'd give it a try. Service was good our coffee was nice,I ordered a beef burger which was so nice and my wife ordered the corn fritter.We loved our food so much we went back the next day and ordered the same things
For something heartier, the truffle roasted chicken is a standout choice. It's beautifully seasoned and incredibly tender and juicy. Pair it with a refreshing salad of capers, lettuce, and fennel, or opt for the roasted potatoes, and you’ll have a perfect meal.
I highly recommend giving this place a try!
Very friendly staff, they're always lovely. Food is good, fairly simple, can't go wrong. Good for a brekky before getting started on a long day. Coffee is good and the large sizes also come in very big mugs if you ask. They have decent size meals, your stomach will be satisfied for sure.
Only had breakfast here but the staff were polite and efficient. The usual breakfast food on offer. Just a little disappointed no omelette available but what we had was nice. Eggs poached, eggs fried and eggs scrambled with nicely cooked bacon. It was enjoyable.
