I've been visiting this place for nearly 20 years now, and it never disappoints. They offer fantastic meats, cheeses, pastas, and sauces. Whenever I'm in the mood for an Italian beef sandwich, I head to Capri for all the ingredients. Their beef, gravy, provolone, giardinara, and rolls come together to create the perfect sandwich (or "sangwich," as my dad would say). They also have some amazing cookies at the counter. Just a heads-up: be sure to bring cash!
Better than Alpine? I don't know that's something you'll have to decide. Maybe one day I'll have to do a sandwich off by getting both them and doing a little taste test. Either way, this place is amazing. Has delicious and fresh sandwiches. I recommend the Capri Sub. It's their speciality and is absolutely fantastic. One of the best sandwiches in the Chicago land area.
This is the best store in town, subs are amazing, fresh deli and all kinds of authentic Italian goodies. I have to drive a long way now to get it but I will gladly always stop when nearby, it’s a must!
We had an errand near by-what luck! My better half had the capri sub specialty. After adding onions he shared with me. Quite delicious! I staved off from buying their heat and eat food. Next time! Reserva una mesa ahora
I absolutely love this place! The quality of the cheese, deli meats, and Italian products is outstanding. The freshly made sandwiches are amazing!
This is my favorite Italian deli. The sauce and meatballs are exceptional, and they have the best roast beef I've ever tasted.
