This place was beautiful and the concept of having a sink outside of the bathrooms is genius. There 's plenty of room, the bar is beautiful and nicely decorated. We had a large party and there was another large party with 1 waitress and 1 cook. Service was extremely slow even after I placed my order and IMMEDIATELY said As my food comes out I want a to go box and my check. I still waited over 20-25min to get my check and get my card ran. I wound up being there for way longer than anticipated. The manager did take off my shrimp which was nice. The waitress broke down and started crying. We stopped in this new restaurant on a Saturday in February. They were not very busy at all. We all know a busy restaurant can sometimes means it's great or just overrated. So a slow, non busy one may mean the opposite. That's not the case here. My mom and I were pleasantly surprised by the drink and food. Sour apple martini was so yummy and pretty. My mom and I shared crab cakes and fried shrimp. The shrimp was huge! Very tasty. We did have to wait a bit for our server to come back to our table. But the food was delicious. Would love to go back for a boil.
The customer service here is amazing. The first encounter that I had with the staff here was over the phone and they were super nice. Coming into the actual store, it is beautiful [I love the sinks in the bathroom]. Our server Kortney is absolutely amazing… she is friendly, she’s smiling, and she has overall been great. The manager Tina was also super friendly. This WILL NOT be my last time here. The environment is conducive for a great dinner and I appreciate all the kindness is a world full of hate.
We went with the fried food. In the pictures you will see the fried gator, the fried catfish and the fried soft shell crab. The food was okay just salty. I wish they would have had some other sauces besides the marinara sauce, tartar sauce or ketchup to counteract the saltiness of the food.I will go back to try the seafood buckets.

Literally the best crab leg joint in the city!! I started going to captain crab at the end of December, I've probably been back more than 10x. Great customer service, great food. I always get the #2 with captain crab signature sauce medium heat!! Might I add the prices are amazing. I love being a regular ?
Service is awesome the catfish is to die for! Don't go for the beer it's way overpriced all drinks are way overpriced but the seafood is excellent always get a table never seem to have to wait...
This place has the worst service ever ! The people are rude and when we finally got the food the spice was wrong and when we said something about it she screamed at us ! Horrible service !
Ate there yesterday, very very good! Excellent food, excellent service. The best seafood anywhere in Kentucky.
