My wife ordered the country style fish dinner in Jackson, Mississippi and in Monroe, Louisiana, and both time the fish was different than it used to be. She likes the old way that it was cooked better than this way. I ordered the batter fried and loved it both times. We used to eat at ours in Lawton, Oklahoma, but it closed several years ago. Every time we go down to Mississippi we eat at the I-55 location and then the Thomas Road location in Monroe. Very good service at BOTH locations. Very friendly and customer service oriented.
The cashier's performance could have been improved. I found myself having to repeat everything I said, as she seemed to forget most of it. I tried explaining things step by step to give her time, but it didn’t always help. However, she wasn’t completely unhelpful; she did remain behind the counter, which was a plus. Despite this, the food was excellent, and the other staff members were fantastic.
Forget to make a picture, but the food was fresh and good quality for what I bought. I have the surpreme sampler. The chicken has a unique taste and taste that only Capn' D's offers. The Hushpuppies were moist and tasteful. I couldn't even finish my part after sharing with my wife! Definitely buy a family package so I can bring it back to Texas. You're missing Captain.
Great food, long wait. We usually try to eat here once a month, but it seems like it's going through forever. Even after I finally got into the window to order (because the drive-dru speaker is broken), I still had to move forward and wait a while for my order.

The food was fresh and hot, but the wait times in the drive-thru are consistently around 7 to 10 minutes.
