The food has been really good. I've tried most things on their menu and until recently enjoyed their service a little bit. But something changed and the quality has gone down seemingly overnight. Two stars for great food. The food you actually receive when you order is phenomenal. But you might as well just go head on and get ready to check a bag when you receive it. I’ve been going here since I moved to West Monroe three years ago. I have yet to receive everything I ordered from the drive through.Today I was asked to pull up to the curve after I sat at the window for around 10 minutes. The food is to die for, but the service is HORRIBLE. They keep people waiting forever in the drive through, and once you pull up to the window, they tell you to pull foward some more. It 's so frustrating. Also, we just went there and pulled up and NO ONE answered after waiting for 30 minutes. Hello? and they still wouldn 't answer! People were inside eating and workers were inside too. They might have been closed or their drive through might not have been working, but they didn 't tell us or show any signs. Slim chickens is the best chicken in the area!! They offer sauce options for any taste, freshly made to order chicken, delicious sides, and fun desserts in a jar. My son loves their milkshakes. I highly recommend the fried pickles. They are not too salty like those from other restaurants. The service is great. They're hard working and ready to answer questions if you have any. Highly recommend!!!! 5 star chicken!! Kid-friendliness: They have crayons and coloring sheets for the kiddos, also quite delicious kids' meals.

My name Is Rodney Lloyd Jr, I quit slim chicken because this manager name Guy wanted me to do all the work and the rest of the people be on their phones everyday and not doing nothing and the other manger name Chad doesn't do his job well we be all out of things and we been all out of stuff, it been going on for 2 months and they are going down hill and that's why I quit and they are sorry people!!!
We were traveling and my wife had never been to this establishment so she wanted to try it. I ordered the wings and they were overcooked and halfway dipped in sauce. My wife ordered the chicken fingers and she enjoyed them. The only issue was we had to return because the team forgot our condiments and the napkins.
On our way home to Texas and decided to stop at Slim Chicken. I must say I was impressed. This was our first time eating there and they were amazing. Although they did forget our ranch dressing we went back and they gave us plenty. Very professional and excellent customer service.
Would not recommend I ask for fried pickles I did not get them did not get the macaroni i ask for chicken was beyond soggy flat drink there is a bunch of teenagers that would not listen and I had repeat myself five times and they still didn't get it right WOULD NOT RECOMMEND
