Captain George's Fish Chips

this has been my place for years, especially for the Muslim inherited. unfortunately no more. was not since a few months and noticed at this last visit that they were signed up to doorstep for delivery. then we noticed the updated menus. Instead of...a simple menu on paper it was now a colored, laminated menu with many choices. we ordered fish and chips with the one cable and two squids. halibut seemed too expensive. mushy inherited were not on the menu, but I asked and they still do it. can't mistake the fish and chips, but the muddy earthquakes were terrible. being English and possessing a chippy, I know mushy inherited. good food, quick service and friendly! What else could you ask for?! a tw is up to take timelines there for the time they expect, or have a meal. fish chips are my favorite, with a special price for haddock chips. or cod chips all for $6.75 good size share. I love to pick up an order and take home in the summer to eat at my pool, but much fun at eating. they can find captain george restaurant in the middle of the city, just behind the td bank and the north east corner of yonge st wellington in aurora, no reservations required!

we were already a few times at captain george in aurora and it went to the hill fast. the proportion has become smaller and smaller, and the quality is under standard is a low level. we went there yesterday and the cod was unfit. it was clearly roasted yesterday or the day before? it was in the ground shoe leather with a beautiful old fat taste. and of course it was not cheap that we paid more than 24 dollars for two small pieces of cadjau and a handful of french french french fries. will never go there again.

As an English person and former owner of a chip shop in England, I am quite discerning when it comes to fish and chips. That being said, I selected this place as my top choice for fish and chips (and mushy peas!) in Aurora and Newmarket. The food was excellent, the restaurant was clean, and the service was good. My only small complaint is that as an English person, I prefer slices of bread and butter with my meal. A dinner roll just doesn't quite cut it for a proper chip butty! Reserva una mesa ahora

Haddock or cod with chips $6.75 all day. Good sized portion too. Mushy peas are really good. $1 a portion which is plenty but I ordered 2 portions because I love mushy peas. Yes. Im English. My Canadian husband had Halibut and chips for $13.75....I dont find it worth the extra for halibut but being brought up in the north of England it was always cod for us. Cant fault the food or the price. It's not a posh place, more like a cafe which is what chippys should be.

Without a doubt, this restaurant serves the best fish and chips in town. The portion of fish is huge and comes at an affordable price. It will definitely leave you feeling satisfied and full. I will definitely be returning here anytime.

Great fish and chips and more, large variety of fish to savour as well as finger food. Chicken strips are done right. Service is excellent and there's even TV while you're eating.

I have 3 halibut and chips you have grilled, vs roast my wife loved it. the grilled healed was wonderful. love this place

The taste and price were pretty good. A family of 4 was able to eat a satisfying meal for around $50.
