Although the service started out a bit slow, it didn't affect our impression of the restaurant. The food was fantastic, served quickly and hot! The drinks were delicious too. It was confusing why the restaurant automatically assessed an gratuity, but we would have given about that much anyway
If you have not been here recently, the menu has been changing for awhile now. No more escargot, but the grilled octopus is pretty good. New generation of family is trying out new things. Substantially higher prices, not too sure that they are justified
On a busy Sunday morning, where we passed dozens of folks lined up for brunch at other more centrally located restaurants, we found Captain James Landing to be a great spot. Food was delicious, service was prompt and while it was busy it wasn't crowded

Very dated inside, and menu on Open Table does not match the menu they presented. Very disappointed with selections available compared to what was being promoted on Open Table link menu
The music was way to loud, this was our first time there and honestly won’t be back. The food was decent service was decent nothing outstanding
From the free parking to the complimentary birthday ice cream, this was a great experience! Excellent food and service--highly recommended
