I found everything at this restaurant to be outstanding. The food was fresh, and the prices were quite reasonable given the generous portions. They also serve wine in carafes at great prices. Our server, Denise, was fantastic—she had a wonderful personality and was very knowledgeable and efficient. We dined on a busy Sunday night and made a reservation a day in advance. Everyone at our table thoroughly enjoyed their entrees, which included chicken francaise, shrimp fra diavolo, chicken sweet melissa, chicken Parmesan, manicotti, and chicken saltimbocca. The appetizers were excellent as well. I would highly recommend this restaurant!
Cara Mia has made a significant investment in their atmosphere, and it looks fantastic. Unfortunately, the food did not meet expectations. The Cara Mia Shrimp, which was meant to be creamy, turned out to be watery, just like the baked clams. The staff was busy, but it felt like they missed the basics of service. Our waiter never checked in on our meals or asked if we needed anything until we finally had to flag him down for the check. As a result, a $160 meal for three (not including drinks) left us wanting more. I hope they take the time to read these reviews, learn from the feedback, and make improvements.
I visited this classic Italian restaurant on Hillside Avenue in Queens for dinner, and it has apparently been around since the 1970s. The service was outstanding, the atmosphere was family-friendly, and the restaurant was clean and bustling with customers. We ordered the Sergio pork chop, shrimp scampi, chicken parmesan, and chicken francese, along with a Caesar salad (which had delicious dressing) and tiramisu for dessert. Everything we tried was delightful and did not disappoint. I will definitely be returning!
According to what I've heard, this Italian restaurant has been a part of the community for quite some time. The ambiance is charmingly rustic yet comfortable, featuring table booths along both sides of the dining room, with tables in the center. While I was tempted to try their homemade pastas, I ended up ordering the Capri along with a side of pasta, which was very tasty. They also offer generous pours for their well drinks. I would definitely recommend a second visit!

On Mother's Day, I dined with my wife and her mom, and we had a wonderful experience. The appetizers were delicious and beautifully presented. The service was friendly and efficient, and we were very pleased with our meals. The cozy atmosphere added to the enjoyment of our visit. Everything was incredibly fresh! I would give this restaurant 5 stars.
