I benchmark all new Italian restaurants with clam linguine. Tonight’s clam linguine was excellent, best in the NorthShore !! So was porcini risotto! So was seafood spaghetti!! The food is amazing, offering a wide variety of options, including an excellent wine selection. Wonderful experience at Carlos &Carlos! At the suggestion of a friend and neighbor we sat at the bar without a reservation. The bartender, Josh is so friendly and accommodating, and the wait staff attended to us as if we were at a table. Will definitely be back!

Casual Italian cuisine that truly impresses. The menu is excellent, with dishes that are exceptionally flavorful. I was thrilled to see the owners return to the area after closing their restaurant in Northfield. This is authentic Italian cooking at its finest.
This is a quaint, old-fashioned restaurant. The food is delicious, and the service is prompt and friendly. However, the seating can be a bit tight, and the noise level can get a little high at times. Despite that, it's a dependable spot that I enjoy overall.
It was extremely loud. The cocktails, salads, and entrees were just average to below average. The service was friendly but noticeably distracted.
