Carpe Diem - Reservar una mesa

Dined here last night on a total whim to meet friends. Arrived around 5. Our main waiter (but also like three people waited on our table) was slow but we were not in a hurry, so no big deal. First, why are the water glasses so small? It’s like serving water for ants. Ordered drinks, then food, wings were good, soup was good, fish and chips were soggy, not great. Ordering drinks along the way, this girl picks up our soup while we are still eating it! Then she ask us if we want to box two wings at least 3 times. Then we get two more drinks and she comes over and is like “there is a reservation for this table, it’s a Saturday night” so, now it’s maybe 6:00? So we have full beers and a timeline....

Can 't say enough positive things about this place. Great/professional service, excellent food, and the staff treats you very warmly/friendly as soon as you walk in the door. For a Hoboken locals place that can tend to be very crowded on any given night, you don 't get the weird intimidation feel that you 'd see at other bars/restaurants in this city (everyone staring as if you just walked in on someone 's private party). Thank you guys for making me feel right at home in Uptown Hoboken for a great meal always!

Just arrived in town for vacation picked this place last minute about an hour before they closed. They gladly sat us down with no rush and place looked great. Great place and great service. Tried the spicy steak bites and OMG so good. Also the wings are some of the best wings i have ever ate. Definitely recommend

Our 1 year old daughter decided that she wanted to have 'a party ' at this restaurant as we walked by. The staff were so kind and accommodating as she first wanted to sit outside and then move inside. We had yummy burgers and headed home with a happy child. Thanks!

We were visiting Hoboken and walked into this little Irish Pub. We were greeted like we were regulars. The drinks are cold, the bartender Bill was as friendly as could be and the food was great. If you want Hometown atmosphere this is the bar to visit in Hoboken.

Carpe Diem is an awesome Irish bar. Perfect for hanging with friends and watching sports. Beers are always great. They truly have a little bit of everything. Can always get a solid lunch for a reasonable price. Highly recommend this place!

Lovely bar, long walk from train station though. Staff very friendly and chatty, food was delicious, I had the shepherds pie. Only drawback was lack of customers when we were there. Pity because the bar itself is lovely and cosy.

This is our friends local great atmosphere very friendly and welcoming delicious food and 'dangerous ' double espresso vodka shots
