Caruggi - Reserva de mesa

Our second visit in 6 months and the little things that lift a cafe or bistro to restaurant level are still missing. Polite service yes; some tasty dishes; yes but overall experience is disappointing. My pizza, the calabrese suffered from being too thin in the centre, hence a gooey wet cheese tomato puddle. The insalata entree was also disappointing, coated in melted cheese it was hard to tell what it was. One friends pasta was barely warm. Another friend enjoyed the mussels, but no dish was provided for the emptied shells. As for alcohol service, after ordering our initial drinks we were not offered another drink until the dessert menu. Whilst close to full on a Saturday night we were first...

¿Fue un cliente recurrente por algún tiempo, tengo que decir que estoy con su Focaccia Col Formaggio Inlove! Es un plato tan auténtico, sabe hermoso, recomendaría que todos compartan. Mi masa favorita y un plato de italiano clásico, el ZPPA di Pesce, que siempre es tan delicioso, siempre sirve con los mariscos más frescos en un hermoso caldo, que es un placer. ¡El personal siempre es útil y son geniales, cosas que recomendar! Recientemente, el chef descubrió hacer su propio pansotti, que es un ravioli absolutamente delicioso con la famosa salsa de nuez, que llevaba perfectamente a Caruggi perfectamente, extremadamente deliciosa ravioli. Fui aquí el martes 12 de enero y tenía una hermosa comida con otros 5. Todos hemos disfrutado de nuestros platos y un servicio atento, amable y amable. Tuve el arrancador de ensalada de mariscos, que estaba perfectamente cocinada vieiras, conchas, camarones y pulpos con una ensalada verde y tomates frescos. ¡Hubby tenía el risotto de la trufa de calabaza, que era realmente delicioso! En las leyes, el Ragu y la Pizza Umbra, que tenían ricos sabores sin ser demasiado difícil. Cocina italiana verdadera !! El cuñado tenía la deliciosa pizza de Prosciutto. Ahora recomiendo este lugar: es el mejor restaurante italiano en Geelong. Dolor

Había comido varias veces en Carggi, se encuentra en mis 10 mejores restaurantes en Geelong CBD para agarrar la cena. Dolor Cada vez que recibí un buen servicio y todo el restaurante tenía un ambiente agradable y relajado. Dolor Dolor Desafortunadamente, solo tenía el Pappardelle porque era tan delicioso por primera vez! Dolor ¡Cualquiera con quien he comido ha disfrutado de una variedad de otros platos! ¡Hay una amplia selección de apartamentos o bocadillos para comenzar, mi favorito personal es su focaccia col Formaggio, crujiente salada y queso! ¡Perfecto! We booked here for a girls night out (based on a recommendation) and it was lovely.A cute little venue with basic but comfortable decor and lovely friendly staff.They were very attentive all night, drinks and meals were bought quickly even though they were quite busy. The menu is extensive enough with a number of authentic Italian options. The antipasto platter was great to share and the Zuppo seafood dish was full of flavour.A great, honest little venue in town with reasonable prices. Would be happy to recommend.

A group of friends had dinner here and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The food, wine and table service were excellent and the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. We tried a variety of items from the menu and each one was delicious. The pasta, the risotto and the pizza were full of flavour, the meat and fish were cooked beautifully and the wine list suited the food perfectly.Would highly recommend this family run restaurant for a great night's dining at an affordable price.

Teníamos los linguinos de tinta de calamar con mariscos. Mientras que los mariscos estaban frescos y bien cocinados, la FAD linguining era. ¡La mayor decepción fue el Affogato que se sirvió frío! Cuando lo interrogamos, nos dijeron que es como se sirve "tradicional". Mmm, es interesante porque es uno de mis postres favoritos, y había servido en muchos restaurantes con muchas variaciones diferentes, pero siempre con café expreso. Decepcionante.

8 of us dined here on Saturday night ,loved the atmosphere of this place,decor was nice.Service was fine and food was passably,not huge serves of pasta,not home made gnocchi,steak was fine but presentation lacked in all dishes and you need to state on menu what type of steak l would be receiving,if l chose that dish ! I don't think an Italian chef is cooking theses meals as sauces on pasta lacked flavour.Dessert was yum though..... Reserva una mesa ahora

Here for dinner for a second time - very good service and we loved the quail main course. Had an excellent cocktail - the Cinque Terre, which I would thoroughly recommend. A very nice traditional Italian eatery with a good selection of Italian wines.

Lovely italian restaurant, pasta was el dente, pizza looked great. Service was fabulous and the restaurant had a lovely cosy feel.
