If your in the mood for Mexican cuisine then this is the place you want to visit. Located in the beautiful Palm Desert, location is great adjacent to the 111 highway with lots of available parking. When you enter the restaurant you really feel like you are down south, the music, the decor to the friendly staff. Quickly seated, drink order taken and the generous pile of fresh chips and salsa! Now I've visited my share of Mexican restaurants looking for that taste, like grandma's, and this is really close. But of course no one could top Grandma. Fajitas are I must try I had the chicken and steak served sizzling! The chile rellenos I would not pass on if you like them and the Posole is fantasti...

The food is all right, yet the staff is friendly. However, if you want quick service, this is not the place to come. In fact, the time it took to get our food (and the restaurant was not busy) really made our dining experience disappointing. We waited about 30 minutes for our food. To top it off, I ordered a fried beef taco and received a chicken taco instead. They took the chicken one away and about 10+ minutes later I got my beef taco. Unless you only want to eat chips and salsa, I wouldn?t come here. I?ll not come back. That?s too bad because the actual restaurant atmosphere is pretty cool.

Of course it is very nicely decorated. My mother and aunt loved it. But that's all they loved. We came to my aunt friends recommendation. I thought it was great because I visited the situation in Desert Hot Springs. I was wrong. Service terrible, food terrible, time for everything terrible. How can that be? Are different locations of different people? Anyway, I say no to this place, but yes to the Desert Hot Springs Casa Blanca

This is definitely the place to go whenever you want to get some seafood. Her shrimp tostadas, mixtas tostadas (shrimp, octupus and abalone), oysters are very tasty. Their drinks are not only delicious, but potent. They also have a fantastic M-F Happy Hour.

Long family meeting my parents lived in Rancho Mirage CA. We could have gone many places because Mom and Dad are no longer in the desert. But the food is BOMB! Vast menu and never had a bad meal or bad service in all the years we come. Very recommended.
