Subpar experience. I went in for breakfast at about 8:50 am today (Friday), wasn’t sure whether to be seated or choose where to sit, so I asked. Then made sure to ask the server whether they accepted cards. He rolls his eyes and moans “Yes, then I sit myself. I immediately noticed I was the only woman there but that wasn’t an issue. I decided to order the chilaquiles and fortunately they were done quickly. I was taken back by how bland they looked but thought once I tried them it would be different. Nope! Still bland. I honestly couldn’t even finish my food because it just wasn’t appetizing. I normally go to this other Mexican spot across the street, near Panda Express but wanted to try this...
Food A+ Cost Service Good to Bad Employees No masks Delicious authentic Mexican food. Servers no longer wear masks. Very clean facility, restrooms well maintained, plenty of parking and visible from street but in corner of home depot mall. Ambiance is relaxed and enjoyable, and for the most part quiet. Most employees super wonderful but one time their credit card machine was down and they didn't make that obvious or well enough known and an unprofessional employee began to argue and mock elderly couple, fortunately they had enough cash but shame on you casa jimenez for hiring and keeping employees with such poor public relations skills. very disgusting memory. shame shame shame , not exactly...
It was a nice restaurant but hard to park in this restaurant. The food was made really fast but it wasn’t very tasty. The tortillas weren’t warm they were cold. Other than that it was a nice restaurant I didn’t like that they let people come inside and sing to the customers eating because most of us don’t carry cash to tip them. Also the steak was very chewy not tasty. Also you kind of feel like the seats are to close to each other
Service outstanding: food outstanding and prices are really good atmosphere if I could give more stars I would..I recommend this caring loving family restaurant..that would like to experience what I did..one of the best restaurants in the San Gabriel County yours truly Salvador Gonzalez Macias

I love breakfast at Casa Jimenez! However, the last 2 times I've gone and ordered the Pozole, it tasted spoiled. It had a spoiled meat smell taste. This is not usual I'm surprised because it's usually very delicious. Disappointed :
Service is quick,place is nice but I was disappointed when I looked at my plate it was a Chile relleno the worst looking chille I’ve ever tried
