Casa Las Katarinas

Casa Las Katarinas is the best! And I mean the best! My family used to own a house in Grass Valley and we went to Katarinas 2-3 times a week! We sold the house a couple of years ago and drive for another 3 hours to go there. We want to buy another home in Grass Valley and Casa Las Katarinas plays a major role. And I don't exaggerate. I'm also vegan. And they have a huge vegan menu with vegan deserts!!! When did you ever see that? Most restaurants don't know how to cook vegan, but let me tell you... Las Katarinas knows how to cook the best vegan food. My family consists of carnivores, vegetarians and vegans. When we go to Las Katarinas, everyone is happy with the best Mexican food we ever had...

We've been going to Las Katarinas since it was located in Nevada City and love it! The mango salsa gives it a sweet taste with just enough heat. Delia the chef knows how to prepare excellent Mexican dishes, David her husband runs the front of the restaurant and German our server has been with them a long time and is a terrific member of their staff.
